Hey kids, it's that time again!  I hope you guys enjoyed I Kill Giants.  What's up with that bunny-eared girl anyways?  Let's find out!

1) It takes about half the book before the truth of Barbara's situation is revealed.  What are your initial impressions of her?

2) How did you feel about the fantasy elements of the story, and how they were implemented into the larger narrative?

3)  Within the structure of the story, what parts do you feel were "real" and which were "imaginary"?

4)  How do you think the story might be different if Barbara were older?  A teen?  An adult?

5) How did you feel when the "truth" was revealed?  Did it change your opinion about Barb as a person?

6) Can you identify with how Barbara's deals with her pain?  Have you ever used fantasy as an escape?

7)  What did you think about the climatic battle?

8) How about the resolution?  Do you think Barbara will be o.k.?

9) What did you think about the art?  Do Barb's ears serve a special purpose?  

10) If you had a magical weapon, what would you name it and why?
